Welcome to Scotts Head Public School P&C Association
Our Mission is for parents and carers to work in partnership with Scotts Head Public School by promoting an atmosphere of community and mutual respect; whilst upholding the school motto ‘Learn as you Grow. We are committed to working in partnership with our community during times of hardship by teaching our students the value of community resilience and adapting to adversity.
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school.
Volunteer
Each year, the Scotts Head P&C run events and activities that have helped to raise funds for the school.
Every dollar raised is invested in projects and facilities at the school to benefit our students.
Funds raised assist the school in providing facilities that enable students to learn and flourish.
The aim is to organise events that bring our community together in a safe and inclusive environment.
In 2026 the P&C will be raising funds to purchase bar fridges for each classroom. As bags are kept outside this will prevent lunches from spoiling in the heat as well as keep ants and other critters from snacking.
In 2026 the P&C will continue to provide funds for the upgrading of kitchen appliances and additional storage in the canteen. This funding will assist volunteers in providing more menu options to all students.
In 2026 the P&C will be raising funds to build a dedicated covered outdoor classroom which will include an outdoor kitchen. This is to become a multi-use classroom for all students and teachers to enjoy.
In 2026 the P&C will give every teacher funds to spend on teaching resources for their students. Teachers are able to spend these funds in any way they wish to benefit their individual class.
In 2026 the P&C will give funds to spend on upgrading its sports equipment and facilities. This includes equipment of a specialist nature for annual activities that are unique to the school, students and local environment.
In 2026 the P&C will be raising funds and donations of supplies to rebuild the vegetable garden along with additional garden spaces. This will allow students to participate in a dedicated horticulture program at school.
In 2026 the P&C will provide funds to spend on teaching resources for its high-quality, comprehensive Bilingual Indonesian Program. Funds will also support local Gumbaynggirr language activities.
